I read something interesting last night. C.S. Lewis was writing about George MacDonald. He said that George wasn’t that great of a writer, but what made him enjoyable was what he wrote about when he wrote fantasy. He wrote myth. Myth is different from fiction, in that it doesn’t matter how or what you write when you write myth, it’s the story behind the myth that makes it good. Something true and good comes through the myth. A series of recognizable events that harmonizes with the reader to create a familiar and enjoyable experience.

So I guess what I’m trying to say is, that what you said, reminded me of what he said, when you said I ‘spoke for all people who have dealt with sales people’. I told the myth of the salesman.
