Since then I have been researching, scheming, pondering, and critically thinking about why I should use it. In my extensive studies I have come to realize Twitter is for three types of people: 1) Losers 2) Self-indulgent losers 3) Rapidly finding shallow, uninformative info about the most current news/subjects/products/gossip The only acceptable form of using Twitter is #3, and notice it does not involve twittering on your part - only searching for other Tweets (presumably from people smarter and more in the know than you - that's why they're the ones with Twitter accounts). But I don't even care about #3 - that's what Digg and Videogum are for. Call me old-fashioned. I got on Twitter over 2 years ago and tried to find a purpose for using it. I hate twitter and have refused all requests to use it. It was quite frightening when I received a twitter request from the Diocese of the Midwest - a sign of the end times to be sure...
