They didn't use Ellen Page's character's ability to good effect. For all the talk of the architecture/space importance, it didn't translate.

The snow layer was stupid. Like if it was going to be THAT random, make it MORE random.

They are floating in dream layer 2 because in dream layer 1 the van they are in is in freefall, hence no gravity.

I think, they can't effort to make a retarded dreams because they didn't want Fisher to know it just a dream.

Maybe the 3rd layer are not in zero -gravity mode because the dreamer of that layer (Fisher) are not aware of the 'kicker' effect. In my understanding for the film, the dreams are made based on the dreamer subconscious and his understanding of the whole dreams' concept. As a proof, Fisher didn't hear any music on 3rd layer dreams as he don't even know Cobb and his gang are using music as a count down.

I don't sure with all of this, but this are my understanding to the movie. Sorry my my bad english.
