You'd have to pry it from my cold, lifeless fingers. My wife will confirm the validity of that statement.

I might steal the Macbook one day during free time and flee back to Indianapolis with it. I'm going to have to show great constraint...

I'm looking forward to summer camp next week simply because I will get to use Luke's macbook pro for a week. That is always one of my favorite parts of camp :)

I can't encourage that...

...strongly enough. It will be very hard to convince me to buy a non-mac laptop anytime int he forseeable future.

True, I remember that computer taking FOREVER to start up. Your Mac sounds like a dream come true, by the way. I'm thinking of getting a Macbook Pro as my next computer.

Nice. I agree. I usually go on a coffee break if I have to restart my computer at work. However, I'd like to point out that I clearly remember one of the first computers mom and dad got when we were little used to take a very long time to start up. We'd get up in the morning, press the power button and go eat breakfast and hope it was up when we came back.

Also, my Mac starts up and is ready to use in under 30 seconds. But the power management is so good I never even need to turn it off. I just shut the lid and it chryostasises and when I open the lid it is back in business in about 10 seconds with the same battery power it had when I closed the lid the day before. I know, Macs used to take FOREVER to start, but they are amazingly quick now. Except the iPhone...
