Independence Day! I think…right? The guy who blows up the first ship and saves humanity from obliviation.

Do I get a dollar now?

Man…King’s Island…many awesome memories. I think the last time I’ve been was when we went with a bunch of people that one summer and I got sick and felt like throwing up the whole day.

    Man, I love that place.

Independence Day? Do I get another dollar? I can’t believe King Cobra is for sale. That would be so sweet to buy and charge your friends like five bucks a day. I’m sure the insurance issues would be a headache though.

Dangit! I had to leave and come back to my comment and publish it only to find that Jonathon beat me to it. Let’s hope there was no reward this time.

It’s a good thing you didn’t win this one Art, because I still haven’t even paid you for the first right answer. Tell you what, I’ll make sure I have a dollar on me at Jon’s cookout on Saturday.

As for you Jonathan, you win the prize. Bravo! I’ll give you a dollar, even though I didn’t list that as a reward, next time I see you. If I have a dollar on me at that time. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Only valid in the US.

You gotta love King’s Island. I have so many young memories from when I was but a wee lad. Do you remember the Screamin’ Demon? It was just a shuttle loop ride that used to stand where Amazon Falls stands now. How about Skylab? That was a great ride.

I can’t believe that happened the same day I wrote this post at a park that I’ve been to many times. Can you imagine seeing that? Poor girl.

At least it goes to show that King’s Island is no less safe than any other amusement park. I actually think it’s safer. I’ve always disliked Kentucky Kingdom. It’s dirty, small, has crappy rides, is arranged poorly with an interstate cutting right through it, and now we come to find out it’s unsafe as well.

To be sure, the Beast at night is *the* best ride at KI. I challenge you to disagree with me. My dad and I used to ride together, and we would look at each other and scream right before the pitch black tunnel (when all vision and hearing is cut out) and when we came out again we’d be right in each others’ faces still screaming. It was hilarious.

You’ve also gotta love posing for the cameras. Do you remember the shot of you and Jesse as two Greek philsophers debating on the Vortex cork screw? Brilliance. (rescrambled: Briancelli…or Brian-shaped pasta?) King’s Island can also be rescrambled: Lads sinking….

Yes, I remember that shot, it was hilarious! Do you still have it? The Beast is hands down the best ride at KI for sure.

Jesse would have it. You’ll have to ask him. If you ever see him again.

Clara has a small keychain sized picture of that somewhere in the house.

Really? Weird… can you see if she can bring it to the cookout tomorrow? I just remember cracking up at that picture.
