Songs From Mumford & Sons’ Upcoming Album
Are you like me? Have you listened to Sigh No More a hundred times straight through without skipping a song? Are you literally sitting and waiting for Mumford & Sons’ new album to come out? Well I’ve got some good news for you, you can hear some songs off of their new album before it comes out! I believe it’s due out in early 2012 and that’s just too darn long for me to wait, so I was so happy to find all these new songs to listen to. As in typical Mumford fashion I got chills all up and down my spine while listening to each and every one of these.
The first one is called Below My Feet and I think it’s the next The Cave. It has an amazing build up throughout the song:
The next one is called Lovers Eyes:
This one is called Home:
And this is Lover of the Light
Next is Hopeless Wanderer
And the last new song I have for you is Whispers In The Dark:
Bonus: don’t know if you’ve heard this one or not, but it’s off of their limited deluxe edition of Sigh No More (only available in the UK – boo!) and it’s called Hold On To What You Believe and it’s actually one of my favorite songs they have ever written. I can’t wait until I can actually buy this song, if ever!
And for anyone who somehow doubts that Mumford & Sons is a Christian band, here is blatant proof (although I don’t know how much more blatant you can get than ALL of the lyrics from EVERY song off of their album):
